What we do, and what to expect.

Every plan starts with an assessment. From there your clinician will suggest the mix of hands-on treatment, exercise and advice that suits you. Here is what each type of appointment involves.

Physiotherapy assessment

  • 50 minutes
  • £75
  • Start here

Your first appointment is about understanding the whole picture: what happened, what makes it better or worse, your work, sport and day-to-day life.

What a session involves

  • A relaxed conversation about your symptoms, history and goals
  • Movement, strength and joint checks, explained as we go
  • Hands-on treatment where it is suitable and you are comfortable
  • A short written plan and exercises sent to your phone

Good for anyone new to the clinic, or returning with something new.

Back and neck pain

  • 40 or 50 minutes
  • Follow-ups from £62

Back and neck pain is very common and usually settles with the right mix of movement, reassurance and time. We help you understand what is going on and what you can do about it.

What a session involves

  • Gentle hands-on techniques such as soft tissue work and joint mobilisation
  • Simple, specific exercises you can fit into a working day
  • Practical advice on sitting, sleeping, lifting and getting back to activity
  • Clear guidance on when to come back, and when you do not need to

Good for desk-related stiffness, a back that has gone after lifting, or a neck that has been sore for weeks.

Sports injuries

  • 40 or 50 minutes
  • Evenings and Saturdays

From park runners to five-a-side and climbing, we plan your recovery around the sport you love and the dates you care about.

What a session involves

  • A look at how you load the injured area, and how training has been going
  • Hands-on treatment and taping where it helps
  • A staged return plan with clear checkpoints you can test yourself
  • Strength work in our rehab studio when you are ready

Good for strains, sprains, running niggles, tendon trouble and shoulders that complain overhead.

Pre and post surgery rehab

  • 50 minutes
  • £75 per session

Getting stronger before a planned operation can make the weeks afterwards easier to manage. After surgery we follow your surgical team's protocol and move things on steadily.

What a session involves

  • Before: a strength and mobility programme in the weeks leading up to your date
  • After: careful progression of movement, walking and strength
  • Help with swelling, scar care advice and getting back to daily tasks
  • Regular check-ins so you know how you are getting on

Good for knee, hip, shoulder and ankle operations. Please bring any letters or protocols from your hospital.

Sports massage

  • 30, 60 or 90 minutes
  • From £48

Sports massage is firm, focused soft tissue work. It is not a spa treatment, but it is relaxing in its own way, and many people book it regularly around training or busy weeks.

What a session involves

  • A quick chat about where you are tight, your training and any injuries
  • Deep, targeted massage to the areas you choose, with pressure agreed with you
  • Stretches and tips for keeping on top of it between sessions
  • Towels and clean linen for every appointment

Good for heavy training blocks, pre-race and post-race legs, and shoulders that carry a laptop all week.

Pilates-based classes

  • 55 minutes
  • Max 6 people
  • £22 drop in

Our classes use Pilates-based exercise to build strength, control and confidence. They are led by our physiotherapists, so each exercise can be adjusted for your body and your history.

What a session involves

  • A short warm up, then floor and small equipment work at a steady pace
  • Options to make every exercise easier or harder
  • Plenty of individual attention in a group of six
  • Mats, bands, balls and blocks all provided

Tuesday 6.15pm and 7.30pm, Thursday 6.30pm, Saturday 9.30am. Suitable for beginners. If you are recovering from an injury or operation, a quick 1:1 first helps us place you in the right class.
