Frequently asked questions
How quickly can I be seen?
We hold back new patient appointments every day, so most people are seen the same week. Evening and Saturday slots go fastest, so book a few days ahead if you can.
What should I wear?
Something comfortable you can move in. Shorts are best for knee, hip and ankle problems, and a vest top or sports top for shoulders and necks. We have private changing space and towels.
Can I bring someone with me?
Of course. You are welcome to bring a friend, partner or family member to any appointment. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Do you treat children?
We see young people aged 12 and over, mostly for sports injuries, always with a parent or guardian present.
What if I am running late?
Call us on 0131 496 0642. We will do our best to give you as much of your session as we can without making the next person wait.
Is this the right place for urgent problems?
No. We are a planned care clinic. If you have a medical emergency call 999. For urgent advice that is not an emergency, call NHS 24 on 111.
