What we help with

Most people come to us with one of these.

You do not need a GP referral. If you are not sure we are the right place, call and ask; we will tell you honestly.

Back and neck pain

Stiffness from desk work, a back that has gone after lifting, or a neck that will not turn. We assess, treat and give you movements to keep going at home.

Sports injuries

Running niggles, calf and hamstring strains, rugby knocks and climbing shoulders. Plans built around your training, not instead of it.

Surgery rehab

Getting stronger before a planned operation, then a steady, staged programme afterwards, working alongside your surgical team's guidance.

Sports massage

Firm, focused soft tissue work for tight legs, heavy training blocks or a long week at the laptop. Pressure always agreed with you.

Your first visit

Calm, clear and at your pace.

Your first appointment lasts 50 minutes in a private treatment room. Wear something comfortable you can move in; shorts or leggings are ideal.

  • We start with a conversation about what is going on, your history and what you would like to get back to.
  • Your clinician looks at how you move, checks strength and joint range, and explains what they find in plain words.
  • Most people have some hands-on treatment in the first session, if it is suitable and you are happy to.
  • You leave with a short written plan and two or three exercises, sent to your phone.

How it works

Three simple steps

  1. Request a time

Use the booking form or call us. Tell us roughly what is going on and when suits you, and we will confirm within one working day.

  2. Assess and agree a plan

Your clinician explains what they think is happening, what treatment involves, and how many sessions are likely to be useful.

  3. Keep moving

Follow-up sessions, home exercises and, when it helps, a place in one of our small Pilates-based classes.

Inside the clinic

Light rooms, quiet street.

Two treatment rooms and a bright studio for rehab and classes, all on the ground floor with step-free access.

Kind words

What our patients say

“Eilidh explained exactly what was going on with my back and gave me three exercises I actually do. I could book a 7.30am slot before work, which made all the difference.”

Fiona, Comely Bank

“Callum built my rehab around my marathon plan rather than telling me to stop. Clear, practical and very good company on a Tuesday evening.”

James, Stockbridge

“I started the Pilates class after my knee operation. Six people, lots of attention, and nobody made me feel slow. A lovely, calm place.”

Margaret, Inverleith
Classes

Small Pilates-based classes, led by physios.

Our classes are for people who want to build strength and control at a steady pace: after an injury, alongside sport, or simply to feel more at home in their body. Six places per class, mats and equipment provided.

Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Saturday at 9.30am. Drop in for £22 or save with a block of six.
