About a ten minute walk from York station. Several pay and display car parks are a five minute walk away, and there are cycle stands right outside. Step free entrance, dogs welcome.

Can I reserve bread without paying online?
Yes. Call us before 4pm the day before and we’ll put your order on the collection shelf. You can pay when you pick it up.
Is there seating?
We have a small bench inside and two tables in the yard when the weather is kind. Most people take their coffee to go.
Do you take cards?
Cards, phones and watches. We still take cash too.
When is the best time to visit?
Weekday mornings are calm. Saturday from 8 to 11 is our busiest time, so order ahead if you have your heart set on something.
Can I bring my dog?
Of course. There is a water bowl by the door and, sometimes, a crust for good dogs.
