Rainbow Promise terms of use
The key terms for using Rainbow Promise. They add to the full TFY Apps terms of use, which also apply, including the section on children's apps. By downloading or using Rainbow Promise you agree to both.
Who we are
Rainbow Promise is made by TFY Apps, the trading name of TFYDJC LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17532068, registered office 198 West End Lane, London, NW6 1SG. Contact us at info@tfyapps.com.
What Rainbow Promise is, and what it is not
- Rainbow Promise retells Old Testament stories in a simple way for young children, with matching games. The retellings are simplified for children.
- Parents and carers decide whether the app is suitable for their child and are responsible for supervising their child's use of devices and screen time.
Buying the app
Rainbow Promise is paid for once, when you download it, through Apple's App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the store before you buy. Apple or Google take the payment; we never see your card details.
Cancelling and refunds
Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so cancellations and refunds are handled by them under their own policies and the law: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through your Google Play order history.
As a consumer in the UK you normally have 14 days to change your mind about digital content bought online, but you lose that right once the download or access begins if you agreed to it starting straight away and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. Apple or Google ask for this when you buy. If Rainbow Promise is faulty, you keep your legal rights to a repair, a replacement or a refund. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Using Rainbow Promise
Rainbow Promise is made for children. It should be bought by a parent or carer. Our children's apps contain no advertising. See children's apps and parental responsibility in the full terms.
Rainbow Promise is for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, resell or share its content outside the app, or try to get around its payment or access controls.
Our responsibility to you
We take reasonable care with Rainbow Promise, but it is provided as it is, and we do not guarantee that it is always available, free of errors, complete or up to date, or that it will give you any particular result.
If Rainbow Promise or its content is faulty you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these terms limits them. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. If defective digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay you compensation.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Changes
We may update these terms, for example when the law or the app changes. We will update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app about any significant change. If you pay for a subscription and do not agree to a significant change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live outside the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in its courts where its law allows.
