Examen Civique Pass terms of use

The key terms for using Examen Civique Pass. They add to the full TFY Apps terms of use, which also apply, including the section on citizenship test apps. By downloading or using Examen Civique Pass you agree to both.

A translation of these terms follows the English text below.

Who we are

Examen Civique Pass is made by TFY Apps, the trading name of TFYDJC LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17532068, registered office 198 West End Lane, London, NW6 1SG. Contact us at info@tfyapps.com.

What Examen Civique Pass is, and what it is not

Examen Civique Pass is an independent study aid, not run by the Ministry of the Interior or any French government body. It contains the official knowledge questions published by the Ministry, with answers we checked against the Livret du citoyen, plus scenario questions we wrote. We check our content carefully and correct mistakes when they are reported, but we cannot promise that you will pass the exam. Register for the exam only through an approved test centre.

Free trial and subscription

Examen Civique Pass is free to download and starts with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, full access needs a monthly subscription bought inside the app through Apple's App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.

Cancelling and refunds

Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so cancellations and refunds are handled by them under their own policies and the law: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through your Google Play order history. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not by itself give a refund for the current period.

As a consumer in the UK you normally have 14 days to change your mind about digital content bought online, but you lose that right once the download or access begins if you agreed to it starting straight away and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. Apple or Google ask for this when you buy. If Examen Civique Pass is faulty, you keep your legal rights to a repair, a replacement or a refund. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Using Examen Civique Pass

You must be 18 or over, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy a subscription.

Examen Civique Pass is for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, resell or share its content outside the app, or try to get around its payment or access controls.

Our responsibility to you

We take reasonable care with Examen Civique Pass, but it is provided as it is, and we do not guarantee that it is always available, free of errors, complete or up to date, or that it will give you any particular result.

If Examen Civique Pass or its content is faulty you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these terms limits them. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. If defective digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay you compensation.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

Changes

We may update these terms, for example when the law or the app changes. We will update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app about any significant change. If you pay for a subscription and do not agree to a significant change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live outside the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in its courts where its law allows.
