Pocket Money Street privacy policy

Pocket Money Street is a set of small business games for children aged about 7 to 13. It collects no personal information. There are no accounts, no adverts, no in-app purchases, no tracking and no chat, and the games work fully offline. This page explains what that means in practice.

Who we are

Pocket Money Street is made by TFY Apps, the trading name of TFYDJC Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17532068, registered office 198 West End Lane, London NW6 1SG. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us about privacy at info@tfyapps.com.

What stays on your device

Game progress, best scores, coins, savings jars and colour choices are saved only on your phone or tablet, in the app's own storage. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this information.

The app does not ask for a name, email address, age, photo, location or any other personal detail. It does not use the camera, microphone, contacts or location. It contains no links that leave the app and no way to talk to other people. Coins are pretend money earned by playing; they cannot be bought and have no real value.

Buying the app

Pocket Money Street is paid for once when you download it, through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google take the payment and handle your details under their own privacy policies; we never receive your card details, name or email address. There are no in-app purchases.

Our website and server

The app never contacts our server. Our server only hears from you if you open one of our web pages (such as this policy or the support page). Like any web server, it records the internet address of the device, the time, the page requested and the browser type, so we can keep the service secure and working, which is in our legitimate interest. These logs are deleted after 14 days. The Pocket Money Street pages on our website set no cookies, load no analytics and load nothing from other websites.

Our server is hosted by Amazon Web Services in its Stockholm data centre in Sweden, as our service provider. Sweden is covered by the UK's adequacy regulations, so no other safeguards are needed.

If you email us

If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply and to help you, which is in our legitimate interest and yours. We delete the conversation once it is no longer needed.

Who we share information with

Nobody, apart from the service providers named above who work for us (Amazon Web Services) and Apple or Google for your purchase. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking software in the app. We never sell information.

Children

Pocket Money Street is made for children, and we designed it to follow the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children's Code), with high privacy by default, no profiling, no adverts, no in-app purchases, no links out and no chat. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. If you are a parent or carer and think your child has emailed us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. From the app itself we hold nothing about you; if you have emailed us, we hold that email. Contact info@tfyapps.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top, and if a change affects what the app does with information we will update this page before that version of the app is released.
