Inburgering KNM Pass privacy policy
Inburgering KNM Pass helps you prepare for the Dutch civic integration exam (Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij, KNM). It has no adverts, no analytics, no tracking and no accounts, and it works without the internet. This page explains the little we do handle.
Who we are
Inburgering KNM Pass is made by TFY Apps, the trading name of TFYDJC Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17532068, registered office 198 West End Lane, London NW6 1SG. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us about privacy at info@tfyapps.com.
What stays on your phone
Your answers, scores, mistakes to review and mock test history are saved only on your phone or tablet. We never receive them. Deleting the app, or using Reset all progress in the app, deletes them.
The app does not ask for your name, email address, nationality, immigration status or any other personal detail, and it does not use your location, camera, microphone or contacts.
Subscriptions
The app is free to download and starts with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, full access needs a monthly subscription bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google take the payment and handle your payment details under their own privacy policies; we never see your card details, name or email address.
The app checks whether your subscription is active using the purchase records Apple or Google keep on your phone. We do not use any other company for subscriptions, and we never receive your purchase details.
Report a mistake
If you choose to use Report a mistake on a question, we receive what you type, which question it is about, the language you are using and the app version. There is no name, account or device identifier. We automatically remove anything that looks like an email address or phone number, but please do not include personal details. We use reports only to check and correct our questions, which is in our legitimate interest and yours. Reports are stored on our server and deleted within 12 months.
Our website and server
Our server only hears from the app when you send a mistake report or open one of our web pages (such as this one). Like any web server, it records the internet address of the device, the time, the page or request and the browser or app type, so we can keep the service secure and working. These logs are deleted after 14 days. The Inburgering KNM Pass pages on our website set no cookies, load no analytics and load nothing from other websites.
Our server is hosted by Amazon Web Services in its Stockholm data centre in Sweden, as our service provider.
If you email us
If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply and to help you, and we delete the conversation once it is no longer needed.
Who we share information with
Only our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services), who works for us under contract, and Apple or Google for purchases. We never sell information and never share it with advertisers, data brokers or government bodies, except where the law requires us to.
Children
Inburgering KNM Pass is for adults preparing for the Dutch civic integration exam (Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij, KNM). It is not designed for children.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. Email info@tfyapps.com. Because we do not hold names or accounts, we may not be able to tell which reports are yours, and we will tell you if so. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Wat op uw apparaat blijft
Uw antwoorden, scores, fouten en oefenexamens worden alleen op uw telefoon of tablet bewaard. Wij ontvangen ze nooit. Als u de app verwijdert of in de app 'Voortgang wissen' kiest, worden ze gewist. De app vraagt niet naar uw naam, e-mailadres, nationaliteit, verblijfsstatus of andere persoonsgegevens, en gebruikt geen locatie, camera, microfoon of contacten.
Abonnement
Een deel van de app is gratis. De rest wordt ontgrendeld met een maandabonnement dat u koopt via de App Store van Apple of Google Play. Apple of Google verwerken de betaling; wij zien nooit uw kaartgegevens, naam of e-mailadres.
Een fout melden
Als u ervoor kiest een fout in een vraag te melden, ontvangen wij uw tekst, de vraag waar het om gaat, de taal en de appversie, zonder naam, account of apparaatcode. Wij verwijderen automatisch alles wat lijkt op een e-mailadres of telefoonnummer. Wij gebruiken meldingen alleen om onze vragen te controleren en te verbeteren (gerechtvaardigd belang, art. 6 lid 1 sub f AVG) en verwijderen ze binnen 12 maanden.
Website en server
Onze server hoort alleen iets van de app als u een fout meldt of een van onze webpagina's opent. Daarbij worden het IP-adres, het tijdstip, de pagina en het type browser of app vastgelegd om de dienst veilig te houden. Deze logs worden na 14 dagen verwijderd. Onze webpagina's gebruiken geen cookies en geen analysediensten. De server wordt beheerd door Amazon Web Services in Stockholm (Zweden).
Met wie wij gegevens delen
Alleen met de genoemde dienstverleners (Amazon Web Services) en met Apple of Google voor aankopen. Wij verkopen nooit gegevens en delen ze niet met adverteerders, datahandelaren of overheidsinstanties, behalve als de wet dat verplicht.
Uw rechten
U hebt recht op inzage, correctie, verwijdering, beperking van de verwerking, overdraagbaarheid en bezwaar. Mail naar info@tfyapps.com. Omdat wij geen namen of accounts bewaren, kunnen wij misschien niet zien welke meldingen van u zijn. U kunt ook een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) of bij het Britse Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
