Einbürgerungstest Pass privacy policy
Einbürgerungstest Pass helps you prepare for Germany's naturalisation test (Leben in Deutschland). It has no adverts, no analytics, no tracking and no accounts, and it works without the internet. This page explains the little we do handle.
Who we are
Einbürgerungstest Pass is made by TFY Apps, the trading name of TFYDJC Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17532068, registered office 198 West End Lane, London NW6 1SG. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us about privacy at info@tfyapps.com.
What stays on your phone
Your answers, scores, mistakes to review and mock test history are saved only on your phone or tablet. We never receive them. Deleting the app, or using Reset all progress in the app, deletes them.
The app does not ask for your name, email address, nationality, immigration status or any other personal detail, and it does not use your location, camera, microphone or contacts.
Subscriptions
The app is free to download and starts with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, full access needs a monthly subscription bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google take the payment and handle your payment details under their own privacy policies; we never see your card details, name or email address.
The app checks whether your subscription is active using the purchase records Apple or Google keep on your phone. We do not use any other company for subscriptions, and we never receive your purchase details.
Report a mistake
If you choose to use Report a mistake on a question, we receive what you type, which question it is about, the language you are using and the app version. There is no name, account or device identifier. We automatically remove anything that looks like an email address or phone number, but please do not include personal details. We use reports only to check and correct our questions, which is in our legitimate interest and yours. Reports are stored on our server and deleted within 12 months.
Our website and server
Our server only hears from the app when you send a mistake report or open one of our web pages (such as this one). Like any web server, it records the internet address of the device, the time, the page or request and the browser or app type, so we can keep the service secure and working. These logs are deleted after 14 days. The Einbürgerungstest Pass pages on our website set no cookies, load no analytics and load nothing from other websites.
Our server is hosted by Amazon Web Services in its Stockholm data centre in Sweden, as our service provider.
If you email us
If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply and to help you, and we delete the conversation once it is no longer needed.
Who we share information with
Only our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services), who works for us under contract, and Apple or Google for purchases. We never sell information and never share it with advertisers, data brokers or government bodies, except where the law requires us to.
Children
Einbürgerungstest Pass is for adults preparing for Germany's naturalisation test (Leben in Deutschland). It is not designed for children.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. Email info@tfyapps.com. Because we do not hold names or accounts, we may not be able to tell which reports are yours, and we will tell you if so. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Was auf Ihrem Gerät bleibt
Ihre Antworten, Ergebnisse, Fehler und Probetests werden nur auf Ihrem Smartphone oder Tablet gespeichert. Wir erhalten sie nie. Wenn Sie die App löschen oder in der App „Fortschritt löschen“ wählen, werden sie gelöscht. Die App fragt nicht nach Ihrem Namen, Ihrer E-Mail-Adresse, Staatsangehörigkeit, Ihrem Aufenthaltsstatus oder anderen persönlichen Angaben und nutzt weder Standort, Kamera, Mikrofon noch Kontakte.
Abonnement
Ein Teil der App ist kostenlos. Der Rest wird mit einem Monatsabo freigeschaltet, das Sie über den App Store von Apple oder Google Play kaufen. Apple oder Google wickeln die Zahlung ab; wir sehen weder Ihre Kartendaten noch Ihren Namen oder Ihre E-Mail-Adresse.
Fehler melden
Wenn Sie freiwillig einen Fehler in einer Frage melden, erhalten wir Ihren Text, die betroffene Frage und die App-Version, ohne Namen, Konto oder Gerätekennung. Wir entfernen automatisch alles, was wie eine E-Mail-Adresse oder Telefonnummer aussieht. Wir nutzen Meldungen nur, um unsere Fragen zu prüfen und zu korrigieren (berechtigtes Interesse, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO), und löschen sie spätestens nach 12 Monaten.
Website und Server
Unser Server erfährt von der App nur etwas, wenn Sie einen Fehler melden oder eine unserer Webseiten öffnen. Dabei werden IP-Adresse, Uhrzeit, aufgerufene Seite und Browser- oder App-Typ protokolliert, um den Dienst sicher zu betreiben. Diese Protokolle werden nach 14 Tagen gelöscht. Unsere Webseiten setzen keine Cookies und laden keine Analysedienste. Der Server wird von Amazon Web Services in Stockholm (Schweden) betrieben.
Weitergabe
Nur an die genannten Dienstleister (Amazon Web Services) sowie an Apple oder Google für Käufe. Wir verkaufen keine Daten und geben sie nicht an Werbetreibende, Datenhändler oder Behörden weiter, außer wenn das Gesetz es verlangt.
Ihre Rechte
Sie haben das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch. Schreiben Sie an info@tfyapps.com. Da wir keine Namen oder Konten speichern, können wir Meldungen möglicherweise nicht Ihnen zuordnen. Sie können sich außerdem bei einer Datenschutzaufsichtsbehörde beschweren, in Deutschland etwa bei der Behörde Ihres Bundeslandes, oder beim britischen Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
